Badlands River Parks System


Drumheller boasts a Walking Trail over 10 kilometers long.

Walking TrailBeginning at the East end of Drumheller  beside the Drumheller Composite High School the trail passes by the downtown core, crossing the Red Deer River and continuing along the north side of the Red Deer River through Midland, continuing to McMullen Island in Midland Provincial Park and ending at the Royal Tyrrell Museum.Walking Trail

Walkers, joggers and bikers will thourougly enjoy this trail. This trail is the path taken for the Terry Fox Run held in September every year.
