The Hoodoos

HoodoosLocated East of Drumheller, on Highway 10 these strange mushroom like formations are a must see for all visitors to the Valley. Formed by water and wind erosion these pillars have been thousands of years in the making. Topped by protective capstones these sandstone pillars are very fragile, and erode very quickly once the capstone falls off.
